We have been serving QLD schools for many years. Previously we have been nestled under Kate Green Photography and Desire Images, however as businesses have grown and flourished it is now time to spread our wings and develop under our own brand. It is definitely an exciting time. 

Our vision is for all students to be seen. 


It is vital to keep the child at the centre of our business. If we focus on each person, then the photos will develop. By having a person-centred approach, and focusing on their independence, choice, rights, dignity and individuality (Taylor, 2022) School Photos QLD gives value to its youth, their carers, schools and their staff.   

Meet Kate, Our Principal photographer and business owner. Kate started the concept of individual school photos when she could see that the 'traditional' way of lining students up just wasn't going to cut it for many students - particularly those in the Special School system. The process may take longer, but each student receives individual attention to get the best possible outcome. Everyone deserves a chance to have a great school portrait. 

I have a unique perspective and passion as a photographer when it comes to meeting the needs of students and families with needs as my three children all need extra support and compassion.

Yeah... Its all good. Life happens. Ask your school, and they should have spare coppies for you.


Payment methods set out on the front of your order envelope. We accept cash and credit card payments. Most credit cards can be used when
ordering via our online order page.


Yes, as long as we know BEFORE we photograph at the school.. If you choose to order online, remember to note your order number on the envelope. All students  will also need to return their individual envelopes for portrait shots.


We understand the craziness of family life, and are happy to accept late orders. Please note that an additional late order fee may apply.


Whilst it is preferred that the orders go back to the school, we can
 organise delivery to your address. You will be asked for an extra
payment to cover this cost.


We spend a lot of time with each student and aim for smiles – from students, parents and schools. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your child’s school prints, we offer you two options: 1. Contact us to discuss concerns. We may be able to set up a time to re-shoot the portrait. 2. Return the product to us within 14 days of delivery with a note explaining why you are unhappy, and your contact information. We will get in touch with you to organise a full refund. Please note that this money-back guarantee does not extend to Digital Portrait downloads.


Thats totally fine. Fill out your paper order form and return to the school before photo day. 


From the catch up day, photos generally take 8-10 weeks to arrive back at school.
